This project is a visual investigation which aims to explore the identity of secluded areas in central Singapore. Despite Singapore is widely recognized as a thriving metropolis, Singapore's urban expansion has resulted in the creation of barricaded public spaces and discontinued pavements causing discomfort to residents and tourists.

While construction sites are typically associated with disturbance and inconvenience, my interest lies in exploring the unpleasant use of space and how it can be translated as an aspiration to create a better services and systems in urban landscapes.
